I recently purchased over $300 worth of Christmas decorations from For Every Friends Flora Shop owned by the DeLong’s, including a fully decorated, pre-lit small Christmas tree. When I got the tree home, the lights did not work at all. I immediately called the store to let them know. Their response was simply, “sorry.” As a long-time New Haven customer, I was shocked. I was then told they had given me a “good deal” and that they *never* plug in the trees before selling them. I asked how they could sell a pre-lit tree without verifying that it actually works. Their response again was “sorry,” followed by an offer to give me a strand of lights. If I had known the tree might not work, I never would have purchased it. This is misleading and unacceptable. At the very least, DeLong’s should plug in the pre-lit trees to make sure they function before selling them—customers deserve honesty and transparency. I’m disappointed and will not be returning.

This is a great florist! My family has used them many times over the years. My husband had them make up an arrangement for our 30th wedding anniversary 1 week ago and it still looks wonderful today. Thanks!
